Privacy Policy

TNC Software LLC builds custom software for small and medium businesses. This page explains, in plain English, what happens to the information you send us through this website.

The short version

This is a simple brochure website. There is no account to create and nothing to log in to. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to type into the contact form, and we use it to reply to you. We do not sell it, and we do not share it for advertising.

What the contact form collects

If you fill in the contact form, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company name, if you enter one (this field is optional)
• Whatever you write in the message box
• The date and time you sent it

Please only include what you are comfortable sending by email. There is no need to put confidential business details, financial information, or anyone else's personal data in a first message to us.

The form also contains a hidden field that is invisible to people and is there purely to catch automated spam. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded.

What we do with it

We use it to answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to discuss and carry out work for you. That is the only reason we ask for it. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send newsletters.

Where it goes

Submissions are handled by Google Apps Script and recorded in a private Google Sheet in our Google Workspace account, and a copy is emailed to us. Only TNC Software LLC has access. In practice that means Sean Newton, the owner.

Other services this site relies on

• Cloudflare hosts the site. As part of delivering and protecting it, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address. Cloudflare also provides us with basic, aggregated traffic measurements such as page views and referring sites. This measurement does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
• Google Fonts supplies the typefaces. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Google Workspace stores the contact form entries and the notification email, as described above.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies of its own, and it carries no advertising or third-party tracking scripts. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie for security purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as there is a reason to, which usually means while we are in contact with you and afterwards as part of our ordinary business records. If you would rather we did not, ask us and we will delete your details.

Your choices

Email info@tnc-usa.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. There is no form to fill in and you do not need to give a reason. You can also simply email us instead of using the form, if you prefer not to submit anything through the website.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children.

Changes

If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
